The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Massoud Pezikian, sent, a message of congratulations to the elected President of the Republic of Namibia, Ms. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, in which she praised the level of relations and cooperation between the two countries. In his message, the President of the Republic, "addressed, congratulate you on the successful conduct of Namibia’s general elections, resulting in your victory as the elected President of the Republic of Namibia.." The President of the Republic reaffirmed, " I firmly believe that together we can begin a new chapter of expanding bilateral and international relations during your new term as the first woman elected as President after Namibia’s Independence.".
